Major trial tests promising new drug against Tough-to-Treat ovarian cancer

Summary

This large Phase 3 trial is testing whether a new drug called AZD5335 works better than current standard treatments for women with advanced ovarian cancer that has stopped responding to platinum chemotherapy. About 1100 participants will be assigned to receive either the new drug or the current best treatment based on their tumor's FRα protein level. The main goal is to see if AZD5335 can keep the cancer from growing longer than the standard options.
