Major trial launches for Tough-to-Treat ovarian cancer

Summary
This large, late-stage study will test if a new drug called GSK5733584 works better and is safer than standard chemotherapy for women with ovarian cancer that has become resistant to platinum-based drugs. About 450 participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the new drug or a chemotherapy chosen by their doctor. The main goals are to see if the new treatment helps patients live longer without their cancer getting worse and to understand its side effects.
