Could a smarter pill bottle help fight the opioid crisis?
NCT ID NCT04598074
Summary
This study is testing a new type of prescription package for opioid pain pills. Researchers want to see if this special package helps doctors prescribe fewer pills and helps patients use them more safely after orthopedic surgery. They will compare the new package to the standard amber bottle by tracking how many pills are prescribed and used by 352 patients.
