New shot aims to help control weight in obesity and diabetes

Summary
This early-stage study is testing a new drug called ARO-ALK7 to see if it is safe and how it affects the body in adults with obesity. Some participants will also take a common diabetes/weight loss medication (tirzepatide) to see if the new drug works alongside it. The main goal is to check for side effects and see how the drug moves through the body.
