Could a simple belt scan replace invasive heart tests?
NCT ID NCT07453017
Summary
This study is testing a new, non-invasive scanning method to diagnose high blood pressure in the lungs (pulmonary hypertension). Researchers will compare a safe, bedside scan using an electrode belt against the current invasive standard test in 120 patients. The goal is to see if the new scan can accurately detect the condition, potentially offering a safer and easier screening tool.
