First patients to receive experimental 'Memory' immune cell therapy for blood cancer

Summary
This is a first-in-human study to test the safety of a new type of immune cell therapy for adults with acute myeloid leukemia (AML). Researchers will give patients specially trained 'memory-like' natural killer (NK) cells along with a standard drug called venetoclax, aiming to better control the cancer and prevent it from returning. The study will enroll about 10 participants to find the safest dose and see if the combination is effective.
