New injection could ease agony after heart surgery
NCT ID NCT07175298
Summary
This study is testing a new type of nerve-block injection, given before surgery, to see if it can better control pain after heart surgery. Researchers will compare pain levels and opioid painkiller use in 120 adults who receive the new block versus standard care. The goal is to find a safer, more effective way to manage post-surgery pain and help patients recover more comfortably.
