Major trial tests Triple-Threat attack on advanced throat cancer
NCT ID NCT05941741
Summary
This large Phase 3 trial is testing whether adding a new immunotherapy drug (cadonilimab) and low-dose radiation to standard chemotherapy and radiation works better for people with newly diagnosed, advanced nasopharyngeal cancer. The study will compare the new combination to the current standard treatment to see if it helps patients live longer without their cancer getting worse and if it causes different side effects. It aims to find a more effective way to control this type of cancer.
