New hope for Tough-to-Treat blood cancer: trial tests early use of promising drug
NCT ID NCT06169215
Summary
This study is testing whether adding a drug called selinexor to a standard three-drug combination works better for people with high-risk, newly diagnosed multiple myeloma. It will compare the new four-drug combination (Dara-SVD) against the current standard four-drug treatment (Dara-RVD) in 70 participants. The main goal is to see which treatment helps more patients achieve a deep response, meaning very low or undetectable levels of cancer.
