Early trial tests promising new weapon against blood cancer
NCT ID NCT04091126
Summary
This early-stage study is testing the safety and best dosing schedule of a new drug called belantamab mafodotin when added to standard chemotherapy for adults newly diagnosed with multiple myeloma. The trial is specifically for patients who are not candidates for intensive stem cell transplant due to other health conditions. Researchers aim to find the safest and most effective way to combine these treatments to control the cancer.
