Scientists test mRNA shot to tame rogue immune system

NCT ID NCT07349823

Summary

This early study is testing a new injection called WGb-0301 for people with autoimmune diseases like lupus or autoimmune hepatitis that have come back or haven't responded to standard treatments. The drug uses mRNA technology to target a specific part of the immune system (B cells) that is thought to drive these diseases. The main goals are to find a safe dose and see if it helps improve patients' lab test results.
