COVID vaccine tech tested as potential reset for stubborn immune diseases

NCT ID NCT07388212

Summary

This early study is testing a new type of drug that uses mRNA technology (like some COVID-19 vaccines) to treat autoimmune diseases that have come back or not responded to other treatments. It aims to find a safe dose by giving the drug to about 27 adults with conditions like lupus. The drug is designed to target and remove specific immune cells that cause the body to attack itself.
