Could a common MRI scan replace costly, radioactive brain tumor tests?

NCT ID NCT05937776

Summary

This study is testing a new way to analyze MRI scans, called activity MRI (aMRI), to see if it can provide the same information about brain tumor activity as a standard PET scan. Researchers will compare the two scans in 20 adults with glioma to see if the new MRI method is a valid alternative. The goal is to develop a more widely available and less expensive way to diagnose and assess brain tumors.
