New brain scan could help surgeons target invisible cancer

NCT ID NCT07218367

Summary

This study is testing the safety of a new type of MRI scan that helps surgeons see the hard-to-spot edges of a deadly brain tumor called glioblastoma. The goal is to see if using this scan to guide surgery allows doctors to safely remove more of the tumor than standard methods. The study will enroll 12 veterans to see if this approach is safe and if it might help patients live longer.
