First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 30, 2026 · Updated 36 times
Summary
This study tested a new MRI technique that lets doctors see children's lungs without using radiation or injected dye. 72 kids aged 6-16 had both a standard CT scan and the new MRI. The goal was to see if the MRI could provide clear images of the lungs, potentially offering a safer way to monitor lung disease in children.
