New 'Microscope Camera' could spot mouth cancer earlier

NCT ID NCT02507141

Summary

This study is testing a new imaging device that takes microscopic pictures of spots inside the mouth. Researchers want to see if these pictures can accurately identify oral cancer by comparing them to traditional biopsy results. The goal is to develop a tool that could help doctors detect cancer earlier and guide surgery more precisely in the future.
