Dye-Enhanced mammogram aims to spot hidden breast cancers

NCT ID NCT04871139

Summary

This study is testing a new type of mammogram that uses a special dye injected into the bloodstream to make breast tissue clearer on the scan. It aims to see if this method is better at finding cancer in suspicious, distorted areas of the breast compared to standard imaging tests. The goal is to help doctors target the right spot for a biopsy, potentially improving the accuracy of breast cancer diagnosis.
