Dye spots cancer: new mammogram aims for pinpoint accuracy
NCT ID NCT04871139
Summary
This study is testing a new type of mammogram that uses a safe dye injected into the vein to make breast tissue clearer. The goal is to see if this enhanced scan can better identify which suspicious-looking areas are cancer and help doctors target the right spot for a biopsy. It involves 100 women who already need a biopsy for a concerning mammogram finding.
