Faster cancer detection test faces off against standard method in major trial
NCT ID NCT06935305
Summary
This study aims to see if a newer, faster molecular test (OSNA) works as well as the current standard method (ultrastaging) for detecting whether endometrial cancer has spread to nearby lymph nodes during surgery. Researchers will randomly assign nearly 2,000 patients to have their lymph nodes checked with one method or the other. The goal is to determine if the faster test provides equally accurate information to guide treatment decisions and predict patient outcomes.
