Glowing dots could map hidden liver cancer
NCT ID NCT07295340
Summary
This study is testing a new fluorescent dye that makes liver cancer cells glow under special imaging. Researchers will apply the dye to liver tissue removed during standard cancer surgery to see if it can help identify the exact edges of tumors. The goal is to improve surgical accuracy by better distinguishing cancer from healthy tissue. Results will be compared against traditional lab analysis methods.
