Double-Donor transplant offers hope for leukemia patients lacking matches

NCT ID NCT06904482

Summary

This study is testing a new transplant method for adults with high-risk leukemia or myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) who do not have a perfectly matched donor. It combines cells from a partially matched family donor with cells from umbilical cord blood. The goal is to see if this two-donor approach can safely control the cancer and help patients live longer without the disease returning.
