New lens aims to sharpen Mid-Range vision after eye surgery

NCT ID NCT07441616

Summary

This study is testing a new type of lens implant, called the PureSee™ lens, during a combined eye surgery for people who have both cataracts and a specific corneal disease (Fuchs dystrophy). The goal is to see if this lens improves vision, especially for tasks at arm's length like using a computer, and reduces the need for glasses after surgery. Researchers will follow 10 patients for 6 months after their surgery to measure their vision quality and satisfaction.
