New scan aims to sharpen the picture for kidney cancer diagnosis

Summary
This study is testing a new type of PET/CT scan that uses a special tracer called [18F]RCCB6. The goal is to see if this scan can more accurately detect and diagnose kidney cancer, especially a common type called clear cell renal cell carcinoma. Researchers will enroll 300 participants who have or are suspected to have kidney cancer to compare this new scan's performance against current standard imaging tests.
