Scientists test new imaging dye to spot hidden infections
NCT ID NCT04263792
Summary
This study is testing a new radioactive imaging dye to see how it travels through the body and if it can help doctors better see areas of bacterial infection on a PET/CT scan. Researchers will enroll about 20 adults with known or suspected infections. The main goal is to understand how this tracer behaves in the human body, not to treat the infection itself.
