Glow-in-the-Dark tracers could reveal best cancer treatment path

NCT ID NCT07196384

Summary

This study is testing a new imaging technique to help doctors predict which esophageal cancer patients will respond to immunotherapy. Researchers will use special 'glow-in-the-dark' tracers and a camera during an endoscopy to look for specific proteins in the tumor. The goal is to gather information that could help match future patients with the most effective treatments, not to directly treat the participants.
