Cancer center tests Triple-Threat treatment to shrink tumors before surgery

Summary
This study is testing whether adding two newer drugs (pembrolizumab and trastuzumab) to standard chemotherapy before surgery can better control HER2-positive stomach and esophageal cancers. The goal is to shrink tumors before surgery and prevent cancer from returning. About 49 patients with operable cancer who haven't had previous treatment will receive this combination therapy.
