Scientists test Next-Generation scan to spot hidden heart trouble

NCT ID NCT05625490

Summary

This early-stage study tested a new type of imaging scan to detect coronary artery disease, which causes blocked heart arteries. Researchers enrolled 15 people, some with suspected heart disease and some healthy volunteers, to see if the new scan could accurately measure blood flow to the heart muscle. The goal was to develop a better tool for doctors to diagnose heart problems without invasive procedures.
