New heart pacing technique aims to keep patients out of hospital

NCT ID NCT07492979

Summary

This study will compare two different ways to pace the heart in people with heart failure and abnormal electrical signals. About 1,100 patients will be randomly assigned to receive either the standard biventricular pacing or a newer method that tries to pace the heart's natural wiring system more directly. Researchers want to see if the newer method is better at reducing deaths and unplanned hospital stays for heart failure.
