New heart pacing technique tested as alternative to standard treatment

NCT ID NCT04409119

Summary

This study tested whether a newer, more targeted electrical pacing method could work as well as the standard treatment for certain heart failure patients. Researchers compared two approaches in 150 people with heart failure and a specific electrical pattern in their hearts. The goal was to see if the newer method could improve heart function and symptoms similarly to the established treatment.
