Brain-Targeted talk therapy aims to rewire depression
NCT ID NCT07388004
Summary
This study is testing two new group talk therapies for major depression. One therapy focuses on changing rigid negative thoughts, while the other aims to boost motivation and enjoyment of positive experiences. Researchers will compare these new approaches to a waiting list to see if they better reduce depression symptoms. The study also uses brain scans to understand how these therapies might work.
