New hope for deadliest brain cancer: direct chemo injection trial

NCT ID NCT07193654

Summary

This study is testing if adding a direct spinal fluid chemotherapy injection to standard brain cancer treatment helps adults with a particularly aggressive form of glioblastoma (GBM) that has spread to brain fluid spaces. The goal is to see if this combined approach can better control the cancer and help patients live longer. Researchers will compare results to what is typically seen with standard treatment alone.
