Scientists test supercharged flu shot
NCT ID NCT06507553
Summary
This study tested a new version of the seasonal flu vaccine that includes an extra component (an H3 strain) to see if it is safe and how well it triggers an immune response. It involved about 400 healthy adults, split into younger (18-49) and older (60+) groups, who received different doses. The main goal was to monitor for any side effects and measure the body's antibody production after vaccination.
