Gentle new eye scanner aims to improve imaging for kids
NCT ID NCT06177639
Summary
This study is testing a new handheld eye scanner designed to be more comfortable, especially for children and babies, than current devices. Researchers will compare images from the new scanner to a standard camera in about 42 participants, including both healthy volunteers and people with eye conditions. The main goals are to see if the new scanner is more comfortable to use and if it takes pictures that are just as good for spotting eye problems.
