New eye scan aims to spot glaucoma before vision loss

NCT ID NCT02441777

Summary

This study is testing a new, more sensitive type of eye scan to detect glaucoma earlier. Researchers want to see if their improved imaging system can measure subtle changes in the retina's nerve layer before vision problems start. The study will enroll 20 healthy volunteers to see if the new scan produces clearer pictures than current methods.
