New eye scan could spot glaucoma before vision loss
NCT ID NCT02441777
Summary
This study is testing a new, more sensitive type of eye scanner. The goal is to see if it can detect the earliest signs of glaucoma by measuring specific light properties in the retina. The study will enroll 20 healthy volunteers to see if the scanner produces clear, high-quality images. If successful, this technology could one day help doctors diagnose glaucoma much earlier than current methods.
