First seen Apr 03, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study aims to see if a new high-definition magnifying endoscopy with image enhancement is better than standard colposcopy at finding cervical and vaginal lesions. About 270 women aged 18-65 who need a colposcopy will be tested with both methods. The goal is to compare how accurate each method is, including their ability to correctly identify lesions and rule out healthy tissue.
