VA tests At-Home EEG cap to help rural veterans with epilepsy

NCT ID NCT05380921

Summary

This study is testing a new, easy-to-use EEG (brain wave recording) headset designed to improve access to epilepsy diagnosis for Veterans living in rural areas. The dry-electrode headset doesn't require a specialist to operate and could be used in local clinics as part of a telehealth program. Researchers will compare the performance and cost of this new system to the standard EEG method used in major medical centers.
