First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests a new mix of drugs for people newly diagnosed with a specific type of acute myeloid leukemia (AML). The treatment combines a targeted drug (venetoclax) with two chemotherapy drugs, then switches to another chemo drug plus venetoclax. The goal is to see if this approach can kill more cancer cells and lead to remission. About 40 adults will take part in this early-stage trial.
