New hope for patients with Fast-Growing blood cancer

NCT ID NCT07220187

Summary

This study is testing if adding a new drug called pirtobrutinib to standard chemotherapy works better for treating Richter transformation. Richter transformation is when a slow-growing blood cancer suddenly turns into a much faster-growing and aggressive lymphoma. The trial will enroll 102 adults who have not yet received treatment for this aggressive form. Researchers want to see if the new combination helps patients live longer without their cancer getting worse.
