New drug combo shows promise for Tough-to-Treat endometrial cancer

Summary
This study tests a new combination of drugs (sapanisertib and serabelisib, called PIKTOR) plus chemotherapy (paclitaxel) in people with advanced or recurrent endometrial cancer that has not been cured by prior treatments. About 40 participants will receive the drug combo, and a smaller group will also follow a special low-insulin diet to see if it helps the treatment work better. The goal is to see if the tumors shrink or stop growing.
