New drug combo shows promise for Tough-to-Treat endometrial cancer
NCT ID NCT06463028
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests a new combination of drugs (sapanisertib and serabelisib, together called PIKTOR) plus standard chemotherapy (paclitaxel) in people with advanced or recurrent endometrial cancer that has not been cured by prior treatments. The goal is to see if this combo can shrink tumors or slow the cancer. A small part of the study also looks at whether a special low-insulin diet can help the drugs work better. About 40 adults will take part.
