Summary
This study tested a new way to deliver dopamine directly into the brain using a pump for people with advanced Parkinson's disease who have severe movement ups and downs. Twelve participants received either the brain pump or their usual oral medications for one month, then switched. The goal was to see if the pump could provide smoother symptom control with fewer side effects and less frequent dosing.
