Breakthrough wound dressing trial seeks to heal diabetic foot sores faster
NCT ID NCT07209358
Summary
This study is testing whether adding a new wound dressing called EDX110 to standard care helps diabetic foot ulcers heal better than standard care alone. Researchers will enroll 298 adults with non-healing foot ulcers to compare complete wound closure rates over 16 weeks. The trial is observer-blinded, meaning those assessing the wounds won't know which treatment participants received.
