Summary

This study aims to see if a new version of the diabetes pill oral semaglutide works as well and is as safe as the currently approved version. It involves about 264 Japanese adults with type 2 diabetes who will take one of the two pill versions for about 27 weeks. The main goal is to check if the new pill controls blood sugar and body weight similarly to the existing one.
