NCT ID NCT07390422

Summary

This study is testing a new, one-time endoscopic procedure called ReCET for people whose type 2 diabetes is not well-controlled with pills. The goal is to see if treating the first part of the small intestine (duodenum) can improve blood sugar levels and reduce fat in the liver. Researchers will follow 40 participants for two years to check safety and measure changes in diabetes control, liver health, and weight.
