New hope for Tough-to-Treat depression

Summary
This study is testing whether adding a new drug called milsaperidone to standard antidepressants helps people with major depression who aren't getting enough relief. It will involve 500 adults whose current depression treatment isn't working well enough. Researchers will compare the new add-on treatment against a placebo to see if it safely reduces depression symptoms more effectively.
