Summary
This study compares two CPR methods for newborns who have a cardiac arrest right after birth. The standard method uses 3 chest compressions for every 1 breath. The new method combines a sustained inflation with chest compressions. The goal is to see if the new method lowers the number of babies who die before leaving the hospital. About 554 newborns born between 28 and 43 weeks of pregnancy will take part.
