First seen May 08, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study compares two CPR methods for newborns who are not breathing and have no heartbeat. The standard method uses 3 chest compressions for every 1 breath. The new method gives a long breath while doing chest compressions. The goal is to see which method reduces death rates. About 554 babies born at 28 to 43 weeks will take part across multiple hospitals.
