Scientists test Next-Gen COVID booster in early safety trial

Summary
This early-stage trial tested a new investigational RNA-based COVID-19 vaccine, called BNT162b4, in 383 healthy adults who had already received previous COVID-19 shots. The main goal was to check the safety and side effects of different doses, given alone or combined with existing booster vaccines. Researchers also measured how well the new vaccine triggered an immune response against several coronavirus strains.
