Summary

This study tests a new treatment plan for people with a certain type of advanced rectal cancer. The approach combines a short course of radiation with chemotherapy, targeted therapy, and immunotherapy before any surgery. The goal is to see if this combination can make the tumor disappear completely, possibly allowing some patients to avoid surgery. The trial will enroll 60 adults aged 18-75 with high-risk features.
