Double-Duty attack: new combo therapy aims to control tough esophageal cancer

Summary
This study is testing two different orders of intensive pre-surgery treatments for people with a type of esophageal cancer that has spread to nearby lymph nodes. The goal is to see if combining two established chemotherapy and radiation regimens before surgery can better control the cancer and improve survival. Researchers will enroll 216 participants to compare the effectiveness and safety of the two treatment sequences.
